The course
Le Golf National sits in the Yvelines countryside outside Paris, its Albatros course shaped from former farmland into a stadium layout edged by water. It has hosted the Open de France for decades and staged the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2024 Olympic golf events. The closing holes, framed for spectators and threaded with hazards, are among the most demanding finishes in European championship golf.
Signature hole: The par-4 18th plays to a peninsula green ringed by water, the closing stage that settled the 2018 Ryder Cup.
