The course

Set among mature oaks west of Chicago, Medinah's Course No. 3 has hosted three U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, and the 2012 Ryder Cup. The layout threads tree-lined corridors and crosses Lake Kadijah on its closing stretch, demanding precision from the back tees.

Signature hole: The par-3 17th plays across Lake Kadijah to a green guarded by water short and right, a closing test that has decided major championships.
